At NASSA we believe that every child is special and can ‘speak the language of sport’. We want to make good players – but our number one goal is to make good people! Our purpose is for all young people to have the opportunity to participate in, enjoy and learn through sport

Who Are we?

Newham All Star Sports Academy NASSA has been set up for young people in Newham and the surrounding areas.

Our coaches have experience in Europe and the USA and are all qualified in their specialised fields.

Our sports sessions are open to boys and girls from the ages of 8 years upwards. We have teams represented at all age levels from 8 to over 18 years. In addition to this we also facilitate specialist basketball training sessions with nursery children from the ages of 3yrs upwards

We provide after school training clubs, a Saturday Academy, High Flyers Developmental Programme, volunteer programme, opportunities to achieve accreditation and NVQs, opportunities to gain coaching qualifications, Summer Scheme, holiday clubs and outreach work in local parks and cages.

Our goals are to build successful young adults and provide a real alternative to engaging in anti social behaviour, through creating awareness and understanding of the opportunities that exist in their lives. NASSA provides consistent motivation to encourage young people to stay focused and to pursue those opportunities with passion.

NASSA is a not for profit, independent organisation that exists to improve the chances and carer choices of young people in Newham and the surrounding areas.
